Frequently Asked Questions
Your Bridge-Building Queries Answered
Is installation included?
No, but the smaller two piece bridges can be installed easily by a competent DIYer and the Larger 4 piece bridges can be installed by a competent builder or landscaper. We are always happy to help on the phone with advice and depending on where in the country you are we maybe able to recommend a contractor who has installed one before.
How long will the bridge last for?
Depending on the timber ordered, Accoya has a 50 year manufactures guarantee and we have soft wood bridges still going that are 15 years old. But this really depends on a good maintenance schedule. Like all timber kept outside, its vital to repair and repaint or stain the bridge if it showing any signs deterioration.
How is the Bridge delivered and at what cost?
The bridge is delivered by ourselves on a flat bed trailer and delivery is charged per mile from our workshops in Suffolk.

Do you accept refunds?
We do not accept refunds as every bridge is made bespoke for each order.
Do you ship internationally?
Yes, we will ship bridges any where and have got bridges in the USA, Europe and Ireland.
Are the bridges made from sustainable products?
All the timber used in our bridges is made from FSC certified timber.

The bridge can be painted in any colour on the Ral colour card using either opaque or translucent paint or stain.
